Here in Sugar Land

We have supported several organizations including Girls on the Run, Fort Bend ISD, the Fort Bend Literacy Council, and Lunches of Love. 

Lunches of Love

The RBC Sugar Land office partners with Lunches of Love (Richmond, Texas) to tackle food insecurity in Fort Bend County. Lunches of Love provides meals to low income students through out our area. Employees of the Sugar Land office regularly volunteer time to assemble meals multiple times a year. And we donate money to help Lunches of Love meet its operating goals. We pride ourselves on giving back to our local community, especially with such an elemental human need, food.

Houston Food Bank

RBC Wealth Management has volunteered hundreds of hours at the Houston Food Bank to help with food insecurity in the nine counties of the greater Houston area. The challenge of food insecurity cast a wide net due an uneven economy since the COVID-19 pandemic. Sugar Land Branch Director, Rama Gali, along with RBC has made support of the Houston Food Bank a focal point of its philanthropic efforts.

RBC sponsored golf tournament helps local newborns

RBC Wealth Management is committed to improving the well-being of families in the communities where our employees and clients live and work. The RBC Wealth Management Bad Pants Open supports the research, treatment and care of critically-ill and premature infants in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Texas Children’s Hospital. For over 20 years, the tournament has benefited the Newborn Center at Texas Children’s Hospital, raising more than $7 million in that time for the organization. Visit this page to learn more.

Thanking our veterans

Sugar Land branch (Rama Gali, Branch Director) helped make over 400 phone calls thanking Veteran-Clients for their service on Veteran’s Day. We also donated $10 to Paws4Vets on behalf of each veteran-client. Visit the Paws4Vets website to learn more.
